David Blakey

Coming from a horse mad family, David has worked with and around horses from a very young age and so understands the challenges of owning and managing horses amongst life’s daily demands.
He has worked as an equine vet in the Cotswold area since graduating with honours from The Royal Veterinary College in 2010, including 10 years at a busy equine referral hospital in Tewkesbury, combining a heavy case load of anaesthesia, hospital cases and routine cases on the road.
Whilst David’s siblings enjoyed mounted games, dressage and eventing, he went onto play polo culminating in spending a year working in polo yard in South Africa and the UK.
